"Get Organized!" is often described as a combination of the hit TV shows, “Clean Sweep” and “The Nanny.” Unlike many organizing companies, "Get Organized!" focuses on organizing areas of your home as well as on family management. In almost all cases, when clutter becomes an issue in the home, it is usually the end result not the problem. This is why we believe that in order to fix or reduce the clutter, we have to determine what is causing the clutter.
“Get Organized!” helps clients with kids’ chores, allowance systems, honey do's, spending habits, meal planning, and delegation of responsibilities in the home. We also set up systems for paper clutter, organizing kids’ paraphernalia, and staging your home. We use a tough love approach...helping parents keep in mind they are raising future husbands and wives. By teaching children life management skills now, they will be better spouses in the future.
"Get Organized!" offers services for organizing your entire home whether you're a mom or not. We're passionate about helping the Organizationally Challenged. We love finding ways to reduce stress and improve the quality of your family life while keeping partialness and frugality in mind.

Lorraine's story
As a child, Lorraine often cleaned and rearranged her room for fun. Dusting and organizing drawers took the place of a Friday night movie and new bedding took the place of toys. At 18, Lorraine married her high school sweetheart and 4 years later had their first child. Now married 22 years with three teenage boys, Lorraine is a traditional all-American girl.
Over the years, her friends and family have sought out her ideas on time management strategies, organizational solutions, kids’ chores, family advice, short cuts in the kitchen, etc. With many seeking her advice and help over the years, she launched her business "Get Organized!" in January of 2007.
Without any capital to start a business, she took a small amount of her family budget (thank the Lord for her husband's income) and had business and postcards created. She then began contacting groups, schools, and churches hoping to find an opportunity to speak on home organization and family management.
Even though she lacked credibility, Lorraine took what little media exposure she had prior to being a business owner and used it to her advantage. She had been quoted in Family Fun and Christian Parenting, as well as being quoted and having a short article written about her Valentine’s Day dilemma with the PISD school district in the book titled, What Went Wrong with America and How to Fix it, by Darrell Ankarlo, a morning talk show host in Dallas, Texas.
In spite of her lack of a college education or formal training in organizing or helping families, Lorraine knew she had what others wanted and needed. With homes in chaos and families living on the brink of stress, order had to be regained. Lorraine took her wisdom and her Christian values and began helping her clients build a better home. With organizational and family management abilities that far exceeded the norm, a solid marriage, children that respected authority in her own home and a Texas girl mentality of “I can fix anything,” she began her journey.
While it started out as merely speaking opportunities and coaching on how to get organized, Lorraine ended up receiving requests to actually do the organizing work, including coaching families on relationship issues, kids and home management.
As months passed, she taught local classes at community centers and spoke to women’s groups like MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), Moms of Multiples, church groups, and she continued receiving regular requests to organize homes.
Lorraine received her first radio interview on a morning show 9 months after she had started "Get Organized!" Since then, she has been featured on TV, radio and in print.
