Overview
Whether it is one problem area or your entire home, Get Organized! will work with you to purge and de-clutter, then create more efficient locations and systems for your items while maximizing your current space. Our organizers can tackle your kitchen, kid’s room, closets, bedrooms, garages/attics, and home office.
Do not know where to begin? Start with an insightful consultation with a GO organizer, then watch as we prioritize your problem areas and create a plan of action. Besides our ability to get the job done, our plans include organizing tools you might want to purchase, and resources for by-products of organizing such as donating unneeded items, recycling, bulk pickup, and recommending companies for other services you might need (handyman, realtor, storage facility, etc.).

Paper Clutter
If you have piles of paper on your kitchen counter tops or stacks of bills and mail on your desk, then you need help managing paper clutter. Get Organized! will come to your home and set up the perfect filing systems and teach you how to sort incoming paperwork and file correctly. Our organizers will explain what type of papers to keep and how long to keep them, and show you how to handle all the papers that trickle into your home every day, such as bills, school papers, mail, and more.
With efficient paper management systems in place, you will not only have more space on counters and your desk to work, but you will be able to find important papers when you need them. Want to go paperless? We can help with that, too.
Storage Units
Storage units are often filled with items no one knows what to do with at home. Sometimes they contain overflow from a cluttered house or they could be filled with unneeded items from a senior who had to downsize. Get Organized! will start by going through each box or container in your storage unit, purging obvious trash or broken items, and sorting the rest.
Containers will be labeled and stacked to maximize space and create easy access to items. If requested, our organizers will provide a detailed inventory of each container so you can easily retrieve items when needed.
Hoarding
Hoarding is a different level of organizing which requires a special approach. In many cases families of hoarders are the ones that reach out to us. Hoarding may require psychological help* for the client and/or family before organizing can begin. In addition, other services such as cleaning companies, carpet or flooring companies, bulk hauling services, and more, may be required in addition to the actual organizing.
Our organizers will begin the process by removing trash and debris, purge unwanted/unneeded items, discard expired food or medication, scale down the overall contents in the home, clear walkways and exit points to meet city code, and then organize the remaining items. It is our hope that the results of our work will be a positive influence in an often chaotic environment.**

** Our rates are higher for true hoarding jobs. Please note that there is a scale for what defines hoarding and a large amount of clutter does not necessarily mean a person is a hoarder.
Christmas Decorating Services
Get Organized! can decorate your entire home for Christmas (or any holiday) or just a few key places such as your Christmas tree, mantel, or stairs. We pull your decorations out of the attic or storage and create a design based on a pre-determined theme. Our organizers have an eye for style and color and will take the stress of decorating off your shoulders.
When the project is complete, our organizers take pictures of the results so that the same look can be achieved the following year. If requested, Get Organized! will send a team to return to your home, take down the decorations, and return them to storage.
Having a dinner party and need an organizer to clear the clutter, decorate, gather china and stemware, and setup for the party? Get Organized! offers an extra set of eyes for a beautifully organized party and an extra pair of hands to reduce the feeling of being overwhelmed.
Staging
If you are putting your house on the market, staging is one of the best ways to get it sold quickly. It gives your interior a magazine look that appeals to home buyers. Get Organized! also offers staging for a home update or for special events in your home.
Get Organized! adds a touch of staging to every room we organize. It is our goal to make your spaces both functional and beautiful. The best part is that when staging, our organizers look around your home for home décor that can be reused in new places or in new ways.
This saves our clients money, and allows them to enjoy items they have chosen to keep. In some cases, our staging plan may require the purchase of new products.
Senior Downsizing
Helping a family member transition from their current home to a senior living residence can be emotional and frustrating. Downsizing for Seniors usually happens under difficult circumstances and is often filled with challenges for both adult children and their parents. Children may find it difficult to work with their aging parent(s) to make the hard decisions about what items are important to keep and move to their new home, and what should be left behind. Often adult children just do not have the time in their busy lives to patiently sort through family items with their parents and pack for the move.
Get Organized! can help make this transition as calm and respectful as possible, with organizers who are gentle, yet productive. Get Organized! is a member of the National Association of Senior Move Managers.
Packing/Unpacking (Moving)
Feeling a little stressed about your move? Instead of paying to move unwanted clutter, Get Organized! can purge unneeded items before packing your home. This saves money on packing supplies and shipping weight, plus allows you to start life fresh in your new home with only the items you want.
Once your new home is ready, our organizers will unpack and organize one room or your entire house. A Get Organized! team can work with your movers to direct the unloading, or arrive after the movers leave and begin the unpacking process.

Packing/Unpacking (Remodel/Construction)
The first step in the process of remodeling a space or managing family life during construction is the packing of unnecessary items to put in storage. Get Organized! can coordinate delivery of packing boxes and supplies, assist clients in sorting and purging unwanted items and clutter, suggest resources for donating, selling, or consigning unwanted items, and carefully pack remaining items for storage.
Once the remodel or construction is complete, we unpack boxes and organize affected rooms, making sure to maximize space during the process. From closets, kitchens, kid’s play areas, craft areas, sewing rooms, and more, we organize the entire contents of your home to give your family a stress-free, uncluttered, functional, and beautifully organized home.
Family Coaching
It has been proven through our work with clients that there is usually an underlying reason for clutter and dysfunction in a household. During a consultation, our organizers often find that family members disagree on the reason for the clutter. Get Organized! offers family coaching to get to the root of the problem.
This process brings the entire family together with a professional to determine why family members have been unable to maintain any type of organizational plan. By allowing a third party to lead the conversation, the discussion becomes less about emotion and more about finding a solution that will bring order to your home.
Time Management/Kids Chores/Allowance Systems
Sometimes the clutter and chaos in a home is the result of a lack of an efficient time management system. Do you need help creating a more manageable family schedule or a system to remind family members of important events or tasks each day? Get Organized! can give you advice and resources, and teach you systems for managing paper and scheduling activities. We can also set up chore and allowance systems for all ages of kids.
Once your family succeeds with improving time management, and your children understand the importance of being responsible for everyday duties, the clutter and chaos will change to a calm, organized environment.
IT Services
Need help with organization of your email inbox, digital document files, digital photos, and more? Electronic organization is just as important as keeping your physical spaces in order. Our IT team can work with small businesses or individuals in need of personal assistance. It is our goal to set up electronic systems that our clients can maintain after we are gone.

Photo Organization
Organization of family photos is an area that gets little to no attention. Digital photos are scattered over many hard drives, cell phone camera rolls, thumb drives, digital files, and on the cloud with no organization. Physical photos, whether they are from your collection or inherited, will often get passed down to the next generation with no captions to identify the people or places in the images. Sadly, many photos are thrown away because adult children and family members have no clue who are in the photos.
Get Organized! will organize and save these memories in either a digital format or as scrapbooks or photo albums. Let us organize all your photos on your computer or as prints in boxes by year and by person and/or occasion. Once started, you will be able to continue the process and create something that will last a lifetime and can be passed down for the next generation to enjoy.

Get Organized! owner and founder Lorraine Brock has been motivating and educating individuals, families, and organizations since 2007. She believes that a better organized home and family can create a healthy balance between work and personal life. Being organized reduces stress which results in healthy individuals, strong families, and satisfied employees.
Home shows are a favorite, and offer consumers the opportunity to talk to Lorraine about their organizing dilemmas. Lorraine is experienced with working with media outlets to promote any event.
In-Home Parties
Looking for a unique party to get the girls together? Home Organizing Parties are the newest trend and are both fun and educational. There is no pressure to buy anything as content is geared towards giving attendees great organizing ideas and advice on systems and products.
Participants leave with practical ideas to implement in their own home, and have an opportunity to share their best organizing ideas and resources. This is a must-have home party.
